Cindy's Album at CD Baby
Brooks Hill Historic Church

Welcome!

Back when I used to be somebody (when people were still hitting stones together to make fire)  I was best known for fronting the alt-country band 'No Way Home' as the lead singer and songwriter. We were signed to Tim Kerr records, distributed by Sub Pop. We toured a little, took home the Portland Crystal Award for Best Country Act two years in a row, did the regular country circuit in Portland, some downtown rock clubs and played the Oregon rodeo circuit. We had the privilege of performing at The Schnitz, The Hult Center, Starry Night, Pine Street Theater, WOW hall, Country on the Waterfront, The Rose Festival, The Dakota, Key Largo, Satyricon, and opened for lots and lots national acts.

Alot of people ask me what I've been doing since then. When 'No Way Home' disbanded, I went off and did a solo album, produced by the incredibly talented Gary Ogan. Then I developed a very unfortunate and expensive obsession for remodeling old buildings. My latest project is an old church that is now open as a community center and concert hall.

I also work with an educational software company that helps teachers use technology in the classroom. I'm a wannabe geek so it's been a great project. My teachers were very influential in my life so it's a honor to work with work with people that are so genuinely passionate about helping schools. They have been awesome - very supportive of me as a musician and also helped us out a lot when Robert was sick.

I still play and accept selected bookings. I love giving concerts at the church so if you would like to be on the mailing list, I'll send you a note about my next event.

I hope to see you sometime!
